Pés de Borracha I Plastic Model Contest and Expo online registrations are open!
Expo theme is Porsche 90 years, in 2021
Contest Rules
Schedule
The group build will be opened September, 1st, 2020.
Model builds valid for the contest, must start after this date.
The photos of built models must be sent to the email contato@pesdeborracha.com.br from January, 1st, 2021 until September, 15th, 2021.
Model exhibition will be from October 1st to 15th, 2021
During this period of time, the models sent for the event will be at Pés de Borracha Gallery, where users will vote on the winners.
Contest winners will be published on November 1st, 2021.
Entries
All modellers will be included in a Telegram group, where work in progress will be published. The group will be used also for information and technical exchange during the build process.
The main goal of the group is share information among builders.
To get the invitation for the telegram group and contest entry confirmation, you must follow these steps:
– Subscribe to Pés de Borracha Youtube channel
– Follow Pés de Borracha Instagram
– Send na email to inscricao@pesdeborracha.com.br with your name, Telegram phone number, username used in youtube
Photos
Only three photos per model will be allowed. Use your best shots!
Photos, should be sent as a JPG file with max size of 1024 x 768. Together with the photos, you must send a title for them, scale and a brief description of your model.
Photos, will be published by the organization without any retouch or post production, so the quality will be your responsibility.
Theme
Contest theme will be Porsche models, from any year, in 1/24th or 1/25th scales, any model manufacturer.
Only plastic or resin models, will be allowed.
Awards
The best three models by popular vote, will be awarded.
The best Porsche Race model will get the Guilherme Rezende award. This award will be offered by the Contest organization, who will choose the winner.
Only the models with “in progress” publication at whatsapp group, that have fulfilled all criteria from “Entries” section will be competing for the awards.
Models that are already built and that have or not entered in other models will be only for exhibition, and will not be entered at the competition.
Winners will pay for the shipping of their awards.
Voting
Each vote will for the best three models in preference order, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
For each vote, models will receive points as follows:
1st place: 6 points
2nd place: 4 points
3rd place: 2 points
The winner will be the model with most points. Second and third voted will also be awarded.
If there is a tie, the winner will be for the model with most 6 points, then most 4 points, then 2 points.
If after all there, there is a tie, the model that had it´s picture sent earlier will get an extra point.
Final Considerations
This is a cultural event for the incentive in model building.
No payment will be necessary for participating in this contest.
There is no connection with Porsche, beeing this contest just a tribute for Porsche´s 90 years.
